I come from the Pinzgau region of Salzburg and grew up in the idyllic village of Embach, where I discovered my deep connection to nature – both flora and fauna.
As a teenager, I was fascinated by the acrobatic movement on a snowboard – not knowing that it would one day become the foundation of my professional journey.
My path to becoming a mountain guide
After completing my apprenticeship as a carpenter and gaining several years of work experience, my interests gradually shifted from splitboarding to rock climbing and mountaineering. That’s when the idea of completing the mountain and ski guide training began to take shape – with the goal of turning my passion into a profession. But before I could follow that path, I needed to refine my skiing technique, which I was able to do through the ski and snowboard instructor training.
„The feeling of freedom and the thrill of trying something new burn within me. It brings me joy to share that fire – in a safe and mindful way.“
Arlberg
During my training, I had the opportunity to share my knowledge as a ski and snowboard instructor in the Arlberg region. Since then, this magical place has captivated me – in both winter and summer – and I truly enjoy exploring its many unique facets and growing within them.
Yoga
During the demanding years of my training, I found the perfect physical and mental balance in the philosophy of yoga. The harmonious postures in rhythm with the breath continue to give me strength and energy time and again. On my first journey to Asia, this self-taught practice was deepened through an excellent and intensive teacher training.
